Data Export

From Settings, export your account's plants, completed cycles, measurement tables, tasks, and care history as a CSV archive, a JSON file, or a printable PDF report — built entirely client-side, with no per-plant filter and no plan restriction.

How to do this in GrowScope

  1. Open Settings and find the Data Export card.
  2. Choose CSV, JSON, or PDF.
  3. CSV downloads a zipped archive with one file per data table. JSON downloads a single structured file. PDF opens a print-ready report in a new tab for you to print or save.

Output
CSV: a zipped archive with one file per non-empty table (plants, completed cycles, light/PPFD, climate, watering/feeding EC-pH, soil moisture, plant size, tasks, care history). JSON: a single structured file with the same dataset. PDF: a browser print-ready report.

Notes

  • This export does not include photo files — only structured data (plants, cycles, measurements, tasks, history). A separate account backup/export feature includes photos and is meant for migrating your whole profile to a new device.
  • The export covers the whole account at once — there is currently no per-plant or per-cycle filter.
  • PDF export works by opening a formatted report and calling the browser's own print function, not by generating a PDF file directly.

Frequently asked questions

Does the data export include my photos?

No. It covers plants, cycles, measurements, tasks, and history as structured data. For a copy including photos, use the separate account backup/export feature.

Is data export a Pro feature?

No — CSV, JSON, and PDF export are free for every account.

Can I export just one plant?

Not currently — export covers the whole account at once.
