GrowScope tracks 21 achievements across onboarding, streaks, harvests, scale, care, and mastery — each worth its own points. Your Grow Score is the sum of everything you've unlocked, mapped to one of 11 levels, and once you've earned something, it stays earned.

The problem

A long grow cycle has real milestones in it — your first plant, your first harvest, your tenth — but nothing in most tracking apps marks them. Progress just happens quietly in the background, and the only feedback you get is the plant itself, weeks later.

How GrowScope helps

GrowScope's achievement catalog covers 21 real actions and milestones — from planting your first seed to your tenth harvest, from a 30-day logging streak to running your first Setup Test. Each is worth a fixed point value, and your Grow Score is the running total, mapped to one of 11 levels from your first points to the catalog's maximum. Unlocks are permanent — once you've earned an achievement, it's yours even if the underlying streak later breaks.

How it works

Achievements unlock automatically as you use the app — logging your first entry, uploading your first photo, hitting a 3/7/30/100-day streak, completing your first harvest, growing multiple plants at once, running a pest scout or a Setup Test, and more.
Each achievement carries a fixed point value; your Grow Score is the sum of every achievement you've unlocked so far.
Your score maps to one of 11 levels, shown on your Today screen and in Settings.
Once unlocked, an achievement stays unlocked permanently — a broken streak doesn't take back points you already earned.

Frequently asked questions

Is Grow Score a 0–100 rating of how good my grow is?

No — it's a running point total from the achievements you've unlocked, not a quality score of any single grow. It reflects actions taken and milestones reached, not a judgment of your plant's health or yield.

Can I lose achievements or points I've already earned?

No — unlocks are permanent. If a streak achievement required 7 days in a row and you later miss a day, the achievement and its points stay unlocked; only a future streak achievement (like the 30-day one) would need a fresh streak.

Is the achievement system a Pro feature?

No — every user sees and can earn all 21 achievements. One achievement happens to require having used a Pro feature (Adaptive Watering) to unlock, but the achievement system itself has no plan restriction.

What kinds of things unlock achievements?

Onboarding actions (your first plant, first diary entry, first photo), logging streaks (3/7/30/100 days), harvest milestones (first harvest, fifth, tenth), growing multiple plants, care actions (trichome checks, pest scouting, IPM treatment), and using specific tools like Adaptive Watering, the box/light optimizer, Plant Compare, and Setup Test.
