Completed-Cycle Comparison & Trends
Once at least two grow cycles are archived, GrowScope shows a comparison table across all of them and a trend chart for one selected metric at a time — both distinct from Grow Coach's AI-written retrospective and from Plant Compare's live-plant comparisons.
How to do this in GrowScope
- Archive at least two completed grow cycles.
- Open Archive → Completed cycles → Cycle comparison for the side-by-side table.
- Open Cycle trends directly below it, and select a metric (yield, g/W, duration, or cost per gram) to chart.

- A selected metric; requires at least 2 cycles with data for that metric

- Archive screen → Completed cycles → Cycle trends, directly below the comparison table

- Select which metric to chart

- A line chart across archived cycles in harvest order, with best (🏆) and worst cycle marked, and a direction label (improving / worsening / stable) derived by comparing early vs. recent cycles.

Notes
- Both features need a minimum of 2 archived completed cycles to appear at all, and operate purely on already-stored cycle records — no server calls, no AI credits.
- This is distinct from Grow Coach (an AI-written, Pro/credit-gated retrospective on the most recent cycle) and from Plant Compare (which compares live, in-progress plants using continuous time-series readings, not archived cycles).
- The comparison table shows plant name and harvest date as row identifiers; strain and light-equipment details are stored per cycle but not shown as separate comparison columns.
Frequently asked questions
How many completed cycles do I need for these to appear?
At least two for the comparison table; the trend chart additionally needs at least two cycles with data for whichever metric is selected.
Is this the same as Grow Coach?
No — these are plain data views with no AI and no credit cost. Grow Coach is a separate, Pro/credit-gated AI feature that writes a narrative report.
Can I chart more than one metric at once?
No — the trend chart shows one metric at a time (yield, g/W, duration, or cost per gram) to keep it readable.
