Drying & Curing
Once a plant is harvested, GrowScope opens a separate drying-and-curing journal for that batch, independent of day-to-day plant tracking, with a target day count you set per phase and reminders to keep curing on track.
How to do this in GrowScope
- Harvest a plant to open its post-harvest batch.
- Set a target day count for drying, then for curing, based on your own judgment.
- During curing, respond to daily jar-burping reminders.
- Use "Finish drying" or "Finish curing" to move to the next phase early once it's actually ready, or let the target day count run out.
- Complete the readiness check, then fill in the harvest report (weight, impressions) to close the batch into your archive.

- The "finish now" action moves the batch to the next phase immediately — it does not change or reset the target day count you set, it simply lets you stop waiting on it once the phase is actually done.
- Each harvest batch has its own independent journal, so tracking one doesn't interfere with another running at the same time.
Frequently asked questions
Can I finish drying or curing before my target day count is reached?
Yes — a one-tap "finish now" action moves the batch to the next phase immediately, without waiting for the countdown to reach zero. Your target day count itself isn't changed.
Will I be reminded to burp my curing jars?
Yes — daily reminders run automatically for the duration of the curing phase.
Does GrowScope set the drying/curing target days for me?
No — you set your own target for each phase, based on your judgment or strain guidance.
