QR Pot Labels
Generate a QR code for any plant, entirely on-device, that deep-links to that plant's page. Print it and stick it on the pot — scanning it only opens the plant for the account that actually owns it.
How to do this in GrowScope
- Open a plant's page and generate its QR code.
- Download it as an image, or print it directly.
- Attach it to the physical pot.
- Scan with any phone camera to open GrowScope and jump to that plant, if the scanning device is logged into the owning account.

Notes
- The code is generated entirely client-side with no server round-trip, and encodes GrowScope's own app URL — no third-party QR or link-shortening service is involved.
- Scanning requires the device to be logged into the account that owns the plant; a stranger scanning the code lands on the sign-in screen with no data exposed.
- The plant-ID parameter is stripped from the URL after opening, so refreshing or re-sharing the current page URL doesn't reopen it via the deep link.
